Doug Moorehead, DDS

Dr. Doug Moorehead enjoys both the challenge and pleasure he gets from meeting patients for the first time. From general checkups to complex treatments, Dr. Moorehead wants each patient to feel comfortable and happy throughout each visit. He is always amazed at what dentistry can do for his patients’ self-confidence and beauty, and he is proud to be a part of such a meaningful profession.

Serving people is what Dr. Moorehead enjoys most about the dental profession. He believes that excellent dental care can make a very positive impact in peoples’ lives and he considers it a privilege to practice every day.

Education and Continuing Education

For his dental education, Dr. Moorehead attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Although his formal education is complete, he considers himself to be a lifelong learner. Continuing education is extremely important to Dr. Moorehead because he loves staying on the cutting-edge of dental technology. He continuously improves his techniques in order to serve his patients in the best, most effective ways possible. 

In the Practice

Dr. Moorehead appreciates his great team members who are committed to excellent, compassionate dental care. They are a detail-oriented, caring, friendly and professional team that is dedicated to serving patients with the best dentistry and customer service. Their desire is to make each patient’s visit memorable and pleasant by being attentive to patients’ needs and helping to deliver the treatment they deserve. Dr. Moorehead feels proud to work with such a great group of people.

Outside the Office

Originally from Hamilton, OH, Dr. Moorehead has been attending Montgomery Community Church since he moved to Cincinnati. He has been married to wife, Sarah, since August 2010 and lives in Mariemont, OH. He is passionate about missionary dentistry and to date has visited Honduras and Guatemala to provide free dental care to underprivileged families. One of Dr. Moorehead’s hobbies is playing golf and he played golf competitively while attending LeTourneau University in Texas for his undergraduate studies.
