Jessica

As our Practice Administrator, I help Dr. Henize manage all aspects of the practice, along with assisting with marketing activities and public relations.

I want to serve each patient as I would want to be served. It is my goal to help every patient find an affordable way to have all their dental needs met.  Seeing  people have their smiles transformed brings great satisfaction to my job!  People sometimes come in afraid and embarrassed before working with our team which is why we are so compassionate and do everything we can to make them comfortable.  When they leave with a huge smile on their faces, I know we have changed their lives.

Dr. Henize is the most generous, caring, laid back and understanding employer ever.  He appreciates and acknowledges us on a daily basis.  He provides hi-tech, hi-touch, dentistry in a fabulous environment for us and his patients.  Dr. Moorehead is the new guy in town so I love teasing him!  He is starting to get my humor by now, however, the first couple of times he thought I was being so serious!

We always have fun at work!  One year we gave away tickets for a group of 4, a parking pass & access to the All-You-Can-Eat area at a Red’s game to 6 of our patients.  We also have a monthly drawing for dinner on us!  Our office atmosphere is professional and relaxing, some say ‘spa-like.’  No, I’m sorry ladies, we don’t offer manicures or pedicures!  If we did, Dr. Henize would have no one serving his patients because we would be getting their services all the time!  We are like one big family.  We laugh, cry, and yes, sometimes argue just like your family at home, but we ALWAYS make up.

I have a wonderful husband, Eric, a daughter, Sophia, who looks just like me, and twin sons, Marshall and Maverik.  Marshall looks just like Sophia and me, and Maverik looks just like my husband.  They all act like him, of course, because I’m perfect ;)  We have a boxer named Buster, after Buster Douglas, the heavy-weight champion who defeated Mike Tyson.

I love spending time with my family.  When I found out I was having twins, I thought, “There is no way I can do this!”  Well, I learned that I can, and I do!  There is not a day that goes by that I don’t laugh and sometimes cry from laughing so hard!  I enjoy home projects with my husband, although he would say he doesn’t enjoy them at all.  I also like shopping. Did I just say ‘like’?  I meant LOVE shopping, especially for shoes and handbags!  Finding a great bargain is my passion.  I’ve been known to scream in a store when I find one.

Tricia

As one of our dental hygienists, Tricia helps our patients improve and maintain all aspects of their oral health. She treats each patient with warmth, genuine concern, humor, and honesty, and wants to create an atmosphere where each patient knows they’ll have all their needs met. Tricia feels blessed to be able to work with her co-workers, whom she considers to be friends, and Dr. Henize, whose generosity Tricia has greatly appreciated since June, 2006. She is especially glad to now be working with Dr. Moorehead, as he has been a family friend for the past eight years.

Tricia has two children, Sarah and Jon.  She has loved hosting a couple international exchange students from China and South Korea that will forever call her 'mom'. Kayaking has become one of Tricia’s newer passions, as she is the proud owner of two 12 foot Perception kayaks. Both for pleasure and ministry she has had the privilege of visiting over 20 diverse countries, including Papua New Guinea, Haiti, Russia, and Great Britian. Tricia is also the SW Ohio representative for the Voice of Martyrs Ministry that serves persecuted Christians around the world.

A couple other fun facts about her is that she loves editing, eating Graeter's Blackraspberry ice cream, and hiking to waterfalls, yet she hates the idea of 'working out' at a gym, ironing clothes, and wasps, cicadas or bees.  They freak her out.

Courtney

As one of our clinical assistants, Courtney takes X-rays, educates patients on good oral health, makes sure they’re comfortable, and tries to help them have a little fun while they’re in our office. Courtney likes to get to know her patients on a personal level by finding out what their interests and hobbies are. She loves to meet new faces, learn new things every day, laugh, and have fun while providing the best possible service to you!

Courtney is married to her husband, John, and they have two sons, Johnny and Eli. When she has free time, Courtney enjoys reading, playing with her kids, and going to the park.

Jennifer

Jennifer is one of Dr. Henize’s dental assistants, so she can be found working directly with patients in our beautiful office to make sure they’re comfortable. Her goal is to be as informative as possible and looks forward to answering any questions our patients may have. She is kind and courteous to our patients and their families and wants to make each dental experience a positive one. Jennifer loves working with the rest of our team and enjoys taking advantage of many continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with all the latest technology.

Jennifer is married to her husband, Bob, and she has one daughter, Ava, and a stepson, Brandon. When she’s not spending time with her family, Jennifer enjoys reading and shopping.

Jessi

As one of our dental hygienists, Jessi believes her first obligation to patients is to get to know them on a personal level and then on a professional level by preventing disease and maintaining their health. The relationships she has built with her patients are very important to her. Jessi loves to have fun at work and always brings her patients into the fun we have here. She loves working with Drs. Henize and Moorehead because she thinks they are awesome dentists who love what they do and they are always willing to go the extra mile for everyone.

Jessi’s husband’s name is Kyle and her daughter’s name is Kaelyn. She also has a dog named Carson. Her favorite thing to do is watching her daughter play softball, but she also loves reading and as most women, loves to go shopping!

Tiffany

Tiffany is one of our dental assistants who helps Dr. Henize with restorative procedures and clinical inventory. She tries to treat all of our patients the way she would like to be treated if she were in their shoes, and she wants them to feel as comfortable as possible while in our office. Tiffany loves working for Dr. Henize because he is an amazing dentist who creates a very fun atmosphere and is always doing fun things for the team.

Tiffany’s fiance’s name is Chester and she has one step-daughter named Audra. When she’s not in the office, Tiffany enjoys reading, attending spinning classes, shopping, and hanging out with friends. She also loves to go sailing.

Matthew

As our patient care coordinator, Matt is the 'voice of the office' and often will be the one you hear when calling. He also takes care of the schedule and helps manage the front office. We are constantly incorporating new technology and Matt loves helping our practice grow in order to provide modern comfort, care, and service.

Matthew and his fiancé, Danae, will be getting married in November of 2011. When you see him, be sure to ask what favorite food he has cooked recently!  One of his goals for 2011 is to finish building an Android app!
